Image Access will exhibits for the first time at the
ICOM exhibition in Kyoto

Wuppertal - August 28, 2019

Image Access will participate for the first time at the ICOM General Conference and the corresponding 2019 ICOM Exhibition. This major international conference will be held in the historic imperial city of Kyoto in Japan. The exhibition will open on the 2^nd of September and close Wednesday, September 4^th.

You can find us at booth N40, where we will exhibit together with our Japanese partner UBTC.

We will present interesting models to fulfill the specific requirements of museums. On display will be the WideTEK 25, an A2 format flatbed scanner with an overall resolution of up to 1200 DPI. This machine comes with a backlight for scanning transparent originals. For the digitization of books and other bound material we will present the Bookeye 4 V2. As a major highlight, you can experience the WideTEK 36ART.

With the WideTEK 36ART, we introduce a new technology to the museum world. Particularly in Asia, we see many interesting applications, as here you can find scripts and works of art on a variety of materials. Books on palm leaves, Chinese calligraphy as well as rolled texts and paintings, can all be scanned contact free on the WideTEK 36ART. The maximum resolution for doing so is 600 DPI on the overall A0 format and you will be amazed to see the brilliant results.
