Experience the WideTEK^® 36ART on its Worldwide Tour

In May 2018, Image Access will continue its worldwide tour with the Annual Meeting & Museum Expo in Phoenix, Arizona and the Museums + Heritage Show at Olympia London, UK.

In North America

Since its launch a year ago, the WideTEK^® 36ART has taken the art and museum communities and special interest groups by storm! Image Access has already exhibited the WideTEK 36ART at museum shows in Europe in April and will continue its worldwide tour with the American Alliance of Museum´s Annual Meeting & Museum Expo in Phoenix, Arizona from May 7 to May 9, 2018. Image Access has joined the American Alliance of Museums as a vendor partner and will exhibit in booth 2851.

The American Alliance of Museums represents more than 35,000 museum professionals and volunteers, institutions, and corporate partners serving the museum field. AAM´s Annual Meeting & Museum Expo is the largest gathering of museum professionals in the world. Attendees are leaders and decisionmakers from a wide range of cultural institutions that include art, history, and science museums; military and maritime museums; children`s museums; aquariums, zoos, arboretums, and botanical gardens; and historic homes and sites.

In the U.K.

Following the AAM Meeting & Expo, the WideTEK 36ART will be exhibited next at the Museums + Heritage Show, on 16 and 17 May 2018 at Olympia London, UK. The Museums and Heritage Show is the UK´s largest sector exhibition, training and networking event for cultural professionals. Entrance to the show is free of charge and includes more than 50 free talks on a variety of museum and art related topics. Attendees can experience the WideTEK 36ART live in action at stand H8.

Scan Right the First Time with the Best Practices Guide

Resulting from the overwhelming success of the WideTEK 36ART and customer experiences in the art and museum communities, Image Access has developed a comprehensive Best Practices Guide, which describes the scanner's functions, features such as its 3D scanning mode and provides many examples of how to get the best scan of a certain object using the scanner controls. With best practices outlined in the guide, the digital images have a particularly realistic, textured effect and can be used by artists and museums for digital presentation or reproduction for sale.

Also new from Image Access: Scan2PS

Enhancing the functionality of the WideTEK 36ART and other Scan2Net^® scanners, Image Access introduces Scan2PS, a new plug-in for Adobe^® Photoshop^® software that scans and saves images as a JPEG or TIFF file directly in the software. Created for the art sector, Scan2PS takes advantage of the extensive capabilities of Scan2Net^® scanners; including color scanning, grayscale and black and white scanning.

The plug-in can be used on Adobe^® Photoshop^® software versions off CS6 and the Creative Cloud^® and is available for customers to download free of charge in the Image Access Customer Service Portal.
