Image Access with Bookeye and WideTEK scanners at IFLA
As in past years, Image Access GmbH will again exhibit a selection of high quality scanning solutions equipped with the unique Scan2Net® technology at the 82nd IFLA General Conference. The exhibition, which accompanies the IFLA General Conference, (82nd IFLA World Library and Information Congress) will be held from August 14-17, 2016 in the Greater Columbus Convention Center (GCCC) in Columbus, Ohio in USA.
Conference participants are invited to visit Image Access at booth C101, where there will be many interesting new products to see, test and use.
Visitors can experience the many advantages of the unique Bookeye 4 V2 Professional Archive firsthand. Books are scanned on this scanner in the "reading position" as opposed to being pressed flat on a scanning bed. Through the V-shaped book cradle with matching glass plate, this overhead scanner enables perfect scans while providing optimal protection of the book binding.
The Bookeye 4 V2 Kiosk provides a user- and book-friendly alternative to conventional copiers. Again, scans are made in the "reading position" and the user can easily and intuitively operate the scanner via a 22 inch touchscreen. This makes the Bookeye 4 V2 Kiosk a perfect device for self-service which can be easily coupled with payment systems.
Image Access also offers an excellent solution for digitizing larger flat templates or transparent originals with the flatbed scanner WideTEK 25 equipped with its optional transparency backlight unit. This is particularly impressive at an optical resolution of up to 1200 dpi.
Visitors will also find more quality "Made in Germany" and other Scan2Net® scanners at the booth C102 of our partner company SMA directly adjacent.
