Image Access will exhibit for the second time at VISION in Stuttgart from 08 - 10 October 2024. VISION is the world's leading trade show for machine vision. Image Access will present its WideSCAN bars, which are suitable for a wide range of inline inspections and scanning applications and are available in four different lengths of 12, 24, 36 and 48 inches. The design is based on standard CIS (Contact Image Sensor) technology with the special feature that the scan module has a very long focal length, which shifts the focal point 11 mm beyond the surface. This key feature allows the design to take space for mechanical elements such as transport rollers, glass etc. into account.
Illumination, optics, encoder input and frame grabber are integrated in all WideSCAN modules. A Linux computer transmits the image data via TCP/IP. The modules require only 24 V and a maximum of two USB-3 ports. A rotary encoder input enables continuous synchronization with the speed of the objects being scanned. WideSCAN bars scan up to 600dpi resolution in color, and more than 128mm/s at 300dpi in black and white, enabling scanning speeds up to more than 1.5m/s.
Image Access will demonstrate this with a 36" WideSCAN module in a production environment. Look forward to experiencing the WideTEK 36F,
the new CIS flatbed scanner from Image Access, in which a WideSCAN 36 scan bar is integrated.
Also on display will be the WideTEK 24F and the
WideTEK 12-SPECTRUM flatbed scanners. The WideTEK 12-SPECTRUM captures objects in VIS, UVA, IR and with backlight. The 3D illumination shows the finest details and textures of any surface.
We look forward to seeing you at VISION, come by our booth 10C84 in Hall 10.
